The Hudson Bay flatbed truck camper is built for people who want to go farther and stay longer, without sacrificing the comforts that make multi-day trips genuinely enjoyable.
By replacing the stock truck bed with an Aluma Tray flatbed, the Hudson Bay opens up significantly more living space than a slide-in ever could. The result is a proper expedition vehicle: one that handles rough roads and delivers a comfortable camp at the end of them.
Built to Conquer. Built to Last.
The Hudson Bay uses OEV's composite panel construction with an aluminum exoskeleton and aluminum cabinetry throughout. Insulated soft walls deliver R4 insulation value. Bamboo countertops and marine-grade fabrics bring quality finishing details to a camper built for hard use.
No wood. No particle board. No construction methods that fail under vibration, moisture, or years of real-world use.

Removable Flatbed Version
The Hudson Bay is available as a removable flatbed model, compatible with OEV's Aluma Tray or other market flatbed options. You get the expanded living space of a flatbed build with the option to pull the camper when you need a work truck.
Heating and Cooling
A Truma furnace runs on a 20-pound propane tank with a quiet night mode, so you're not waking up the campsite when the temperature drops. The 10-speed roof fan handles warm nights, and the system is prepped for an optional AC unit if you need it.
Kitchen
The kitchen is set up for real cooking: Truma on-demand water heater, propane stove, optional induction cooktop, hot and cold water sink, and a 38-gallon fresh water tank. You're not limited to camp stove meals on a picnic table.
Indoor and Outdoor Shower
Both indoor and outdoor shower options are available, powered by the 38-gallon fresh water tank with a 12V pump and Truma Aquago hot water system. After a long day on the trail, a hot shower matters.
Toilet Options
A pull-out drawer accommodates several toilet choices: Wrappon/Trekker, Thetford cassette, or a custom option. Choose what works for how you travel.
Sleeping
The standard setup includes a queen-size bed with a four-inch mattress. An upgrade to a king bed extension is available if you need the extra space.
Storage
Storage options include cupboards, drawers, under-seat compartments, and optional under-bed storage. Optional Molle panels let you attach gear (jerry cans, bikes, recovery equipment) to the outside without taking up interior space.
Electrical
The electrical system comes with 220 watts of solar power with options to expand. Battery management uses Victron or Redarc DC-to-DC systems, and an optional inverter gives you AC power when you need it. The dual charging system keeps batteries topped up whether you're driving or parked in the sun.
