The Demo Camper, Built With Nearly Everything
This is the Overland Explorer Vehicles show unit: a 2026 Hudson Bay 8' removable pop-up flatbed truck camper with the wet bath floor plan. It was built as the demo camper, so it carries close to every option on the Hudson Bay 8' order form, including the 3000W inverter, three 220W solar panels, a second roof fan, the Trekker waterless toilet, and a rear molle panel with a ladder and tire carrier. It fits 3/4-ton and 1-ton flatbed trucks and is available for immediate purchase rather than a build slot.
Most OEV campers are built to order, which means a build slot and a wait. This one is already finished and sitting at our facility. If the option list below matches what you were going to spec anyway, buying the show unit gets you there sooner and for less than the same camper ordered new.

What is the OEV Hudson Bay 8' show unit?
The show unit is a 2026 Hudson Bay 8' removable pop-up flatbed truck camper with the wet bath floor plan, built by Overland Explorer Vehicles as its demo camper. It carries nearly every available option, and it is for sale at a discount off the as-configured price.
Is the show unit new or used?
It is a demo unit. It has been used for shows and demonstrations rather than sold and lived in, so it carries show mileage and handling but no owner history. It is covered by the standard OEV warranty.
What truck does the Hudson Bay 8' fit?
The Hudson Bay 8' removable pop-up mounts to a flatbed on a 3/4-ton or 1-ton North American pickup. It is not a slide-in, and it does not mount to a factory pickup box. A flatbed such as the Aluma Tray is required.
What is not included with the show unit?
The truck, the Aluma Tray flatbed, the awning, and the Fly Rod Locker that appear in the photos are not included in the sale. Straight awning adapters are fitted to the camper, so an awning can be added. OEV can quote and fit the Aluma Tray and an awning separately.
How is the show unit price calculated?
The as-configured price is the Hudson Bay 8' pop-up base price plus every option fitted to this specific camper, priced from the OEV order form. That includes the 2027 options already on this unit. The show unit discount is then subtracted from that total.
